Our History

Gary Swindale began working in the construction industry upon completing his Bachelor of Engineering (Structural) degree at Auckland University, over 30 years ago. Since that time, Gary -- and consequently Novasteel -- have become New Zealand’s leading specialist, industrial, and agricultural construction company.

Novasteel originated in Auckland, servicing the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and Northland markets. In 2010, offices were opened in Christchurch and New Plymouth to service the South Island and the lower North Island.With a focus on delivering productive working environments for our clients, Novasteel is helping to support the development of productive businesses across New Zealand, all of which benefit New Zealanders and the New Zealand economy. We are proud to be able to help clients create sustainable value and maximise their return on investment to the benefit of many.
