WHANGAREI
Foodstuffs North Island (FSNI) required a new coolstore and food distribution centre to service Northland. This new regional facility was designed to replicate FSNI other new centre at The Landing in Auckland. FSNI were committed to investing in the Northland region and were pleased to add a new state of the art facility to their existing infrastructure in the area.
The new facility consists of:
- 2000sqm warehouse with 5 telescopic dock levellers
- 7200sqm fully sealed concrete yard with landscaping
- EV chargers and carparking
- Truck parking and washdown facilities
- Coolstore/Chiller with racking
- Freezer with racking
- Office area
- Bathroom with toilets, shower and lockers
- Kitchen and meeting rooms
- Stormwater detention system
The completed facility is now a model for future facilities required through the country.
