WOOD CHIP FUEL STORAGE
LIVING ENERGY LIMITED
KAPITI COAST
This complex storage facility was designed to receive, store and handle bulk deliveries of wood chips used as a fuel source for a low emissions burner associated with the Kapiti District Council sewerage treatment plant. Although relatively small in size, the building was designed to house a hydraulic rake system for feeding wood chips into the burner intake. It required specialist building design for complex equipment setup and interface with existing plant infrastructure.
