SOUTHERN PAPRIKA
HORTICULTURAL PACKHOUSES
WARKWORTH
Novasteel were contracted to design and construct a large scale horticultural packhouse facility for Southern Paprika in Warkworth, north of Auckland. The project consisted of four separate packhouses ranging in size from 1000 to 2500 sqm, including loadout canopies, office areas, staff amenities and insulated cool storage and packing areas. The site was developed in stages over the course of 5 years. Although pile foundations had to be utilised due to the relatively challenging soil conditions, Novasteel were able to deliver durable, cost effective, custom designed buildings for a sophisticated horticultural client.
